Marine Underwriter

Job Responsibility:

• Oversee risk assessment and underwriting of new and renewal business.
• Manage underwriting process follow SOP and SLA.
• Perform project management role in collaboration with all related parties (internal and external) to deliver excellent services in underwriting process, delivering policy documents, collecting premium and claim handling.
• Perform and manage effective communications with regional office and local management to ensure all business activities in compliance with Chubb’s guideline and local regulation requirements.
• Perform and prepare all related document for product filling.
• Build and maintain relationship with external parties (Brokers, Agents, Ceding Companies).

Job Specififcation:

• Have experience as Marine Underwriter with a minimum of 2 years.
• Have experience and/or exposure to marine knowledge and policy wording is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate, read and write in English is a must.
• Able to Fast Learning.
