Mep Supervisor

1. Survey and Inspection:

• Conduct on-site surveys to assess the existing MEP systems and infrastructure.

• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.

1. Design Review:

• Review and analyze MEP design plans and drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Identify potential issues or conflicts in the design that may impact the construction process.

1. Coordination:

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure proper coordination between MEP systems and other building components.

• Resolve design and installation conflicts to avoid delays and cost overruns.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Monitor the quality of MEP installations during construction to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

• Conduct quality inspections and tests to verify the functionality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

1. Documentation:

• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of survey findings, inspections, and quality assessments.

• Maintain accurate records of changes, approvals, and any deviations from the original design.

1. Cost Estimation:

• Assist in the estimation of costs related to MEP systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.

• Provide input into budgeting and cost control processes.

1. Compliance:

• Stay updated on relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems.

• Ensure that all MEP installations comply with local, state, and national building codes.

1. Preferably very expert in electrical.

Requirements:

1. Education: A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP design, construction, or inspection.

3. Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

1. Communication Skills: Good communication English skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to diverse project stakeholders.

1. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues in MEP designs and installations.

2. Technical Proficiency:

• Proficiency in using relevant software tools for MEP design and analysis.

• Familiarity with building information modelling (BIM) is often beneficial.

1. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Professional Engineer (PE) or other industry-specific certifications, may be preferred or required.

2. Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with professionals from various disciplines.
