Our client was restructured from several Supply Chain service and went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011. The company's main business is Supply Chain management and logistics services, logistics platform development and operation.
Resources : Commodity procurement and supply business mainly feature plastic chemicals, metal minerals, agricultural products, forest products and mechanical and electrical products, such as five general resins, EVA, fish meal, whey powder, palm oil, latex, steel, non-ferrous metals, automobiles, etc.
We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee our Purchasing, Documentation, EXIM, and Logistic departments. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the Supply Chain industry, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and company growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the Purchasing, Documentation, EXIM, and Logistic departments, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Maintain open lines of communication with managers, staff, and vendors to support company growth and operational excellence.
- Understand and optimize the end-to-end Supply Chain process, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Quickly establish and maintain working relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Conduct thorough analysis of internal operations to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and execute cost-saving strategies to contribute to the company's financial health and growth.
- Ensure all operational activities are executed on time and within budget, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Monitor market trends, supply, and demand to inform strategic decision-making.
- Guarantee compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, mitigating risks and ensuring operational integrity.
- Address and resolve issues arising from both external and internal departments, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree from a reputable university; any major is welcome.
- At least 5 years of experience in an Operations Manager role or a higher level, preferably within the Manufacturing Industry or Supply Chain sector.
- Willingness to travel for business as required.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong communication skills across all levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in Purchasing, EXIM, and Logistic processes, including familiarity with relevant regulations.
- Proven leadership and management abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
- Experience in delivering presentations to C-level executives, showcasing strategic insights and proposals.
