You will report directly to Underwiter II Group Head of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk, one of the top 5 general insurance companies in Indonesia. Responsibilities:

• Evaluating, prioritizing and selecting submissions to be underwritten for vehicle (Mobile Vehicle/MV), Fire (Fire-simple risk), Non-Vehicle and Custom Product insurance products in accordance with company regulations.
• Reviewing insurance applications, assessing clients' backgrounds and financial status, liaising with specialists, determining underwriting alternatives, and negotiating policy terms.
• Experts in risk analysis and selection with remarkable decision-making skills, a deep understanding of retention and reinsurance.
• Collect appropriate and accurate information required to assess potential clients and decide on the acceptable risk for a policy.
• Make a decision to accept, modify or reject an insurance application after scrutiny of all the required documents and studies regarding the risk involved.
• Prepare reports that detail risk assessment findings that contribute to the final decision.
• Evaluate policies with regards to the companys underwriting standards.
• Implement strategic initiatives to simplify retail processes
• Retail product innovation in collaboration with the product team

Qualifications:

• Min. Bachelors degree from any major
• At least 8 years of working experience in the related fields especially at general insurance industry and at least 4 years in Actuary, Pricing, or Technical
• Fluent in English with min TOEIC >550
• Having good leadership, communication, negotiation skill, problem-solving abilities and willing to learn
• Having Professional Certification of A3IK
• Additional certification in related field is a plus
