Network Security Analysis:
- Examine, analyze, and identify potential security vulnerabilities in network infrastructure.
- Monitor network traffic and log activities to detect anomalies and cyberattacks.
- Configuration and Management of Security Devices: Design, configure, and manage security devices, including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortigate firewalls.
- Ensure security devices operate according to company security standards and policies.
Risk Assessment and Security:
- Conduct risk assessments of network infrastructure and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Provide security recommendations based on risk assessments.
- Security Incident Handling: Respond to and efficiently handle detected security incidents.
- Analyze the root causes of incidents and take preventive measures to prevent recurrence.
Security Policy Implementation:
- Develop and implement appropriate IT security policies to safeguard company data and systems.
- Monitor compliance with security policies.
- Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor trends and developments in cybersecurity and current technology.
- Seek and recommend innovative solutions to enhance Network Security.
Training and Security Awareness:
- Provide security training to staff to enhance cybersecurity awareness.
- Serve as a resource in educating users about good security practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in designing, configuring, and managing firewall and other security devices such as F5, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortigate.
- In-depth knowledge of IP segments, network architecture, and related protocols.
- Ability to quickly and efficiently analyze and handle security incidents.
- Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
- Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM would be a plus.
