Palm Oil Surveyor

Role:

• Survey of Palm Oil producing-regions in Indonesia.
• Investigate and analyse changes in FFB production volume.
• Regular interaction with oil palm  farmers / smallholders.
• 1 position available in West Kalimantan, Indonesia

Compulsory:

• Good spoken and written English.
• Preferably should be residing in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
• No health problems and physically fit to walk in the fields everyday.
• Good public relation in handling people and organization.

Qualification:

• Minimum Certificate/Diploma in any Plantation Industry studies.

Age:

• Below 40 years old. 

Experience:

• Working experience in oil palm plantations and/or CPO mills.
• Working experience in socialization with farmers/local villagers.

Skills & Kowlwfdge:

• Good agronomic knowledge of oil palm trees.
• Knowledge on how to conduct Black Bunch Census.
• Able to build relationships with Palm Oil farmers.
• Computer literate especiallyin using Words and Excel.
• Good network with the plantation fraternity.
• Familiar with the respective rural economic ecosystem.
• Able to travel and live in harsh rural conditions.
