About the RoleFasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our Payroll Lead. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, you will be an integral player in the Payroll team within the larger People and Culture Team. As The Payroll Lead you will be responsible for handling the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
What You Will Do
- Maintaining payroll operations by ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies and procedures
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information accurately, timely, and efficient
- Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this to respected team
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Payroll vendor and Accounting teams to develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
- Develop and manage team performance
What Will You Need
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Able to communicate in English & Bahasa (Spoken & Written)
- Good in excel/Google sheet
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in payroll, social security, salaries tax and well versed with people management and supervisory management experiences
- Have experience in professional services firm with strong client serving skill is preferable
- Experience in multiple payroll / Asia Pacific region payroll will be an advantage
