The Pricing Analyst has an appreciation of NielsenIQ solutions, supporting the delivery of service to the relevant clients making sure of the quality of data insights that we share with clients, by proposing optimal analytical solutions with actionable business insights, based on a deep understanding of client needs and robust analytical expertise across various NielsenIQ solutions
Turn complexity into simplicity and show clients how to optimize their trade spend. We’re looking for an entry-level Pricing Analyst to work with our Price & Promotions team in Indonesia.
He / she is responsible for listening to, discovering and understanding client needs to identify analytical approaches / solutions by leveraging NielsenIQ unique value proposition.
He / she is expected to proactively build valuable client relationships and support the growth of the business
Responsibilities
Client Management
- Address client business needs, diagnosing business issues, and agreeing solutions that fully support clients’ objectives in order to deliver high growth for the NielsenIQ Analytics business while meeting the company's quality standards
- Liaise with other delivery leaders as well as other internal stakeholders (E.g. Sales, Client Service) to ensure alignment on strategies and message for each client
- Ensure all client projects deliver high value to clients with a demonstrated return on investment
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within the client organization
- Assist in ensuring adherence to the approved company policies on business conduct / ethics when servicing clients
Project Management & Delivery
- Manage assigned Price & Promotion client analytics projects to ensure that they are delivered on time, with regular communication, and actionable insights and recommendations
- Perform quantitative analysis utilizing superior attention to detail when reporting research findings
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and project management skills
- Simplify complex outputs into actionable, understandable outcomes for clients
- Partner with internal sales channels to support revenue growth
- Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs
Qualifications
A little bit about you
You are a consultative, client-facing individual with great attention to details. Ideally, you are someone who enjoys working with numbers and analytical consulting, specifically pricing / ranging modeling.
You are a team player, a fast learner, and can stand on your own two feet when managing projects and advising clients on how and why analytics can help improve the way they spend their trade budget.
You are interested in applying econometric modeling to solve real-world trade problems or understanding how pricing and promotion analytics can help clients to grow their business.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence or any related field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field, however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and tools (Excel, PowerBI)
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia; both written and verbal is a must
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
- Project management skill; ability to move tasks along their timeline proactively, providing updates to the project team, while managing multiple priorities
- Critical thinking; have the ability to identify and diagnose errors / issues independently
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
