Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. This position involves supervising a team of production workers, monitoring production processes, developing and implementing production plans and schedules, ensuring that production goals are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Production Supervisor also plays a key role in identifying and resolving production problems, as well as implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Performance Areas and Key Activities
Safety and Compliance
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for production staff.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or concerns, taking corrective actions as needed.
Quality Control
Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency.
Monitor and align scrap levels with established targets.
Address any quality issues, defects, or deviations from specifications promptly and effectively.
Production Oversight
Monitor and ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and machinery.
Maintain production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet changing demands.
Ensure that quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Maintain production records, including production reports, performance metrics, and inventory data.
Generate reports on production efficiency (OEE), quality, and any issues that may arise.
Inventory Management
Manage and monitor Raw Materials, Work In Process Material, Finished Goods and other consummable in production.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure adequate inventory supply and timely delivery of materials.
Tool Kit Management
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Ensure the currency and accuracy of production procedures (Work Instructions)
Collaborate with other departments to address production-related issues and suggest solutions.
Team Leadership
Lead and manage a team of production workers, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and working effectively.
Assign tasks, set work schedules, and monitor team performance to meet production targets and deadlines.
Identify training needs and provide coaching and training to production team members and evaluation.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirement
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum 5 year experience as Production Supervisor, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidate must be around age 30 until 40 years
- Familiar with wire and/or gabion industry is prefered
- Computer skills for record-keeping and data analysis.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa
