Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Interior Design/Furniture Design or a related field is often required
- Min. 3 years of experience in furniture specification, interior design, or a related field is usually required. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role may also be preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture products, materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes is essential.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating multiple projects
- The ability to understand and address client needs and concerns for ensuring client satisfaction.
- Industry Knowledge: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and development
Job Desc:
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Responsible for overseeing a team of specifiers who are tasked with selecting and specifying furniture products for various projects.
- Staying informed about the latest furniture trends, materials, and technologies to make informed decisions when specifying furniture products.
- Serving as a point of contact for clients regarding furniture specifications, providing updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
