Purchasing Staff - Construction

Qualification:

• Minimum S1 any dicipline, engineering prefereble
• Minimum 3 years experience in procurement, especially in projects/contractors
• Must be Fluent in English both oral & writting
• Have knowledge of building materials, heavy equipment spare parts
• Skilled in Ms. Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good communication & negotiation skill.
• Must have high integrity
• Experience of establishing strong working relationships with colleagues from different organizations and cultures.
• Ability to meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail, and quality.
• Ability to travel or stay at the project for a months if needed
• Able to Join ASAP

Job Description :

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
• Assists with the management of the procurement organization including strategic sourcing, procurement operations
• Ensuring the material purchasing process is according to specifications and budget, and that goods arrive in good condition and on time
• Monitor and track order deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals.
• Ensuring purchasing administration is carried out correctly and properly validated - Conduct vendor selection and evaluation processes on a regular basis
• Maintains all procurement files, including all necessary documentation, for goods and services, consultants, and any other contract or agreement, except for employment agreements
• Conducting research and looking for new goods or materials and suppliers
• Assessing tenders from potential suppliers
• Conduct price negotiations and agree on cooperation contracts with suppliers
• Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs
• Ensure the compliance of internal / external policy and/or requirement.
• Maintains data on VAT exemption (if any) for internal procurement file in coordination with Finance unit.
• Also performs other duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.
