Automation Leadership

• Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy for testing web and mobile applications.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable automated test frameworks

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in automation testing

• Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Provide guidance on test automation best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional development for team members

• Test Automation Execution

  • Oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

• Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building and implementing test automation frameworks or at least 7 years of experience in professional testing 

• Strong expertise in using WebDriver and Appium for web and mobile application testing

• Previous experience in leading and managing QA automation team

• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development process

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
