The Revenue Analyst will support the revenue & reservation team in pricing, distribution, revenue optimization, and market analyses necessary to achieve the hotel’s top-line revenue objectives. They create accurate revenue forecasts that helps to set hotel goals to outgrow the competition and assist with maintaining Hyatt’s revenue management systems.
They are responsible to produce reporting that support and evaluate hotel business strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue at Hyatt Regency Portland. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Management.
Job Tasks Include:
- Ensure rate roll-in values are set for Prio, Monitor detailed booking limits and product recommendations. Review the 13th month and report on potential high compression periods.
- Assist to complete the forecast and budget
- Assist with daily, weekly and monthly reporting for Strategy and Owners Meetings
- Active participant and help prepare the following meetings: Pick up, Tentative Review, Strategy, Business Travel, DBR, and Revenue Team Meetings
- Assist Revenue Coordinator with group updates, forecasting and systems management. Work closely in regards to monitoring cut-off dates, receipt of rooming lists, and requests for block adjustments. Update rates in RMT and Reserve including test selling
- Monitor internet placement and competitive tactics of the market and report on trends and recommendations
- Ensure upsell opportunities are maximized for retail, pre arrival, front desk and group
