Responsibilities of the Revenue Analyst
This position utilizes management skills and knowledge of hotel operations, to contribute to the Revenue Strategy Team in maximizing revenue and bottom line profits for the benefit of the hotel. Establishes goals to consistently achieve or exceed forecasts for room revenue, occupancy, ADR, and RevPar. Implements yield management techniques to maximize revenues by communicating with DOS and selecting the most profitable mix of demand for the given capacity both in rooms and food & beverage. Accountable for property occupancy through property analysis, competitive analysis, pricing, direct sales involvement, promotion and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities of Reservations
Responsible for implementing revenue management system and standards and practices to control rooms inventories and rates. This person participates in strategic hotel marketing plans by monitoring future rooms occupancy and revenues. They will oversee the hotel reservations department to maintain optimum levels of production resulting in optimum occupancy. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, overseeing the group sales and reservations process, monitoring and assessing all lost business reports, monitor and implement strategies for Internet distribution channels, and training and development of all reservations personnel.
This position will report to the Director of Revenue Management.
The starting salary is $61,800. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
