What You'll Be Doing
- Comprehend and perform the accounting cycle of Glints MY as well as intercompany transactions with HQ and brother entities
- Perform the entire accounting activities of Invoicing, AP, Posting GL, Review Payment On Xero, NetSuite, and Lark Sheets data accurately
- Deliver precise financial data with accurate categorization in a weekly basis
- Ensure timely and accurate closing & submission of accounts according to local and group requirements
- Settle all outstanding tax matters, including but not limited to transfer pricing compliance, and corporate income tax filing (SST (Sales Service Tax), PIT, CIT, etc)
- Liaise with auditors and tax authorities, and relevant government organizations relating to accounting matters.
Who We Are Looking For
- Fluent English speakers: Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across different countries in English; Able to communicate ideas in a clear, structured manner, and demonstrate clarity of thought
- Month-end closing experiences: Solid experience in completing month-end closing procedures for a sizable company
- Understanding of local taxation (SST, FCT, PIT, CIT, etc.): Solid experience in handling filings and optimization of local taxation
- Independent self-starter: Independent work attitude with limited oversight; Self-motivation to maintain a sufficient level of energy and work activity to achieve goals
- Detail oriented: Able to deal with large complex data from multiple sources; Ensure output data to be complete and accurate
- Problem-solver/solution-focused: Evaluate problems from different perspectives and provide solutions or initiatives to maintain a high level of work effectiveness
