Reporting to Head of Credit, Operations & Capital Markets for Palo Alto Networks Financial Services (PANFS), the Sr Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for credit, CECL reporting and analytics/operations activities for PANFS. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a very high growth organization within the Company, leveraging prior experience and knowledge to grow and expand the organization's contributions and capabilities.

Your Impact

• Provide credit analysis and risk scoring for Palo Alto Network Financial Services (PANFS) customers
• Help develop and implement enhancements to system & process workflows for PANFS
• Prepare and own CECL preparation and reporting activities for PANFS
• Lead process improvement efforts between this team and the PANFS International originations

Your Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, economics, statistics, accounting, engineering or data analytics - MBA preferred
• 4+ years’ experience in relevant role within a financial services company/bank, with at least 2 years of credit underwriting experience
• Quantitative analytical skill-set with experience modeling, reporting and visualization of large data sets (Advanced Excel skills, GCP/Data Mart, SQL, Tableau, etc)
• Excellent communication skills able to build relationships at all levels
• Strong organization, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Proficiency in data analytics, data management & tableau 
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statement analysis
• Ability to solve problems and think quickly under pressure
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Palo Alto Networks Financial Services was formed to provide financing arrangements to Palo Alto Networks, Inc.’s customers.  The organization was established in 2020 in the US and has since expanded globally.  Palo Alto Networks Financial Services reports into Treasury which is part of the very talented finance organization within Palo Alto Networks, Inc.
