Senior R&D Engineer

Responsibility:

• Communicate with our clients to understand their current pain points and how GenAI / machine learning can be applied to improve their bottom line
• Work with other Technology team members both in Indonesia and abroad to develop chatbot solutions based on advanced language models.
• Together with other Technology team members and partner organizations, work to monitor and continuously improve the developed chatbot solutions, including the following aspects :

○ Data integration
○ User experience
○ Security and privacy (including compliance with local laws and regulations)
○ Quality, including testing and fine-tuning of models
○ Documentation on the solution architecture, algorithms, and APIs to facilitate troubleshooting and future work

• Keep up with technology developments related to Generative AI, machine learning, and engineering of large-scale software systems.
   

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently with ownership, and as part of a team with a strong sense of responsibilities.
• Proven experience in developing NLP based applications or chatbots in enterprise production environments.
• Experience building systems meant to provide technical support to users will be a plus
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with NLP libraries and frameworks
• Familiarity with the latest LLM frameworks for retrieval-augmented generation.
• Proficiency in Generative AI with both prompt engineering and API.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. This includes the ability to clearly explain technical matters such as system design decisions to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in projects that involve stakeholders based in different countries will be a plus.
• Experience with Cloud Services (AWS/GCP/Azure) will be a plus.
• Experience with retail or supply chain management will be a plus.
