Founded in 2019 and based in Singapore our company is at the cutting edge of addressing the critical challenges posed by climate change through sustainable agricultural innovations. In light of the anticipated need for a 50% increase in food production by 2030 to support a global population nearing 9 billion coupled with the demands for 45% more energy and 30% more water all while reducing emissions we are dedicated to narrowing the agricultural yield gap and reducing the carbon footprint of this sector which is currently responsible for 30% of global emissions. Our operations have expanded to Myanmar and Cambodia where we have partnered with over 2500 farmers across 9000 hectares. Our commitment extends beyond immediate climate action to fostering rural prosperity with an ambitious goal to influence the practices of 100000 farmers in Southeast Asia within five years positioning us as a leader in sustainable agricultural solutions in the region.

At our core we are driven by the imperative to significantly increase food production by 2050 to achieve netzero emissions a challenge compounded by the struggles faced by 500 million smallholder farmers worldwide. These farmers who are responsible for producing 30% of the worlds food are increasingly burdened by rising fuel and fertilizer prices and soil degradation. Our mission is to enact meaningful change that not only benefits the environment but also supports the livelihoods of these essential contributors to the global food supply. Our story is one of innovation and commitment to transforming the agricultural landscape into a model of sustainability and efficiency ensuring food security and environmental stewardship for generations to come.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to join our team based in the culturally rich city of Yogyakarta. This pivotal role is designed for a leader who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the agriculture fertilizer or agricultural machinery industries. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our sales strategies and initiatives with a strong focus on sustainable agricultural solutions that align with our commitment to climate action and rural prosperity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within the agricultural sector focusing on sustainable practices and solutions.
  • Lead and expand the sales team providing training and mentorship to ensure high performance and alignment with our companys values and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including farmers distributors and partners within the agriculture fertilizer and agricultural machinery industries.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and understand industry trends customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing product development and operations to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows promoting our innovative solutions and establishing our presence as a leader in sustainable agriculture.
  • Oversee sales forecasts budgets and reporting providing insights and strategies to enhance efficiency and growth.

Requirements:

  • Willing to work based in Yogyakarta.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Agriculture or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles with at least 7 years of experience preferably in the agriculture fertilizer or agricultural machinery industries.
  • Strong understanding of the agricultural sector and its challenges with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strategic thinker with a resultsdriven approach and the ability to operate in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia with exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region and beyond to engage with clients and stakeholders.
