The Job

You will be responsible for : 

• Designing, implementing, and managing our data center operations, including server provisioning, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Overseeing the configuration and management of networking infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and high availability for our systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to migrate legacy systems to modern platform technology, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-based solutions.
• Implementing and maintaining automation tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitoring system performance, identify potential bottlenecks or issues, and proactively optimize and troubleshoot infrastructure components.
• Ensuring the security of our infrastructure, including data protection, access controls, and vulnerability management.
• Administering and maintaining operating systems, applications, and services running on our infrastructure.
• Collaborating with software development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the infrastructure environment.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in datacenter operations, networking, and system administration, and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements.

The Profile

• You possess Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of experience in datacenter operations, networking, and system administration in a complex and distributed infrastructure environment.
• You have strong expertise in modern platform technology, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• You are proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• You have experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• You have solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
• You have hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• You are familiar with datacenter technologies, including server hardware, storage systems, and backup solutions.
• You are strong at troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications in networking, virtualization, or cloud technologies are a plus.
