Supply Chain Planning Manager is the key driver of the organization's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Master Production Scheduling (MPS) processes and Raw Material Sourcing. The incumbent is responsible for developing and driving customer-oriented supply strategies of finished goods to meet demand plan, Synchronizing supply and demand management through S&OP process to ensure information is deployed timely for conducive decision making.
Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible to strategize product-driven MPS techniques (make-to-order, make-to-stock) to achieve a balance of stability and responsiveness in coordination with Supply Chain raw materials Planner to ensuring product availability and optimizing customer service level against finished goods inventory.
- Implement and comply with Occupational Health Safety & Environment (OHSE) Policy, Quality & Environmental Management System, BSL Policy, Code of Conduct (How We Work), Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) and Government Regulations
- Drive and coordinate country S&OP: Synchronize demand and supply planning with visibility required for decision making
- Drive material planning: Lead key raw materials (KRM) supply strategy, risk management and replenishment plan
- Manage KRM supplier management & negotiation
- Lead Master Production Scheduling: Strategize supply plan to achieve balance Supply Chain in managing service level (delivery performance, lead time etc.), inventory, line utilization and cost
- Optimize inventory focusing on finished goods (FG), semi-FG and KRM to maintain lean stock while serving customer requirement
- Manage supply planning KPIs tracking and lead improvement initiatives
- Drive safety, cost, efficiency, service level improvement initiatives in planning area
- Drive digitization, process/system improvement to achieve effective, lean and agile Supply Chain
- Manage, coach and build up planning team capabilities focusing on core planning skill, data analytics and problem solving
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering (specific from Industrial Engineering), Supply Chain, or Master's in Business Administration or Development, Supply Chain, and Logistic
- Minimum 5 years experience in material or production planning in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in S&OP/IBP, Supply Chain performance management, and digitization
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain business processes across the entire value chain (customer service, planning, and logistics) in a manufacturing company setting
- Experience in managing a team with diverse knowledge and experience within the manufacturing industry
- Experience within the steel industry or building industry to enable strong product and application knowledge will be an advantage
