The responsibility of Supply Chain Sustainability executive:
- Maintain and coordinate Supply Chain sustainable program to maintain compliance with Olam Agri Sustainability policies, supplier code, international and industry standards as well as buyer requirements.
- Ensure traceability to plantation system is in place in the third-party factories, this include monitor the implementation of traceability program from factory to the farm level.
- Conduct supplier assessment on compliance towards company’s sustainability policies and industry standards as well as monitor the action plan regularly.
- Develop sustainability toolkit, checklist, and other materials for supplier compliance.
- Provide training materials and toolkit for suppliers to develop its sustainability system.
- Conducts training session for suppliers to increase awareness, understanding and improve the sustainability practice.
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GPSNR, EUDR etc
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a sustainability strategy for natural rubber related product.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders, customers, and suppliers around the sustainability standard.
Qualifications
- A personal passion for sustainable agriculture and food systems
- Pragmatic organized and structured, with strong critical thinking skills.
- On-the-ground experience and a good understanding of agri-business models and success factors are highly desirable
- Experience with product certification systems, monitoring and evaluation, auditing, and capacity-building/training are desirable.
- Willing to occasionally travel to remote operational areas.
- University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant domain.
- Proven experience in sustainability roles, preferred from rubber industry with 3 -5 years of experience.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
