Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor and review data/document required for tax/custom audit (such as reconciliation, equalization, etc). Act as key contact person to liaise with corporate tax team for tax audit/customs audit and other interactions related to tax, to minimize tax audit findings (annual basis).
- Review data/document needed for annual corporate tax return for MAA group
- Monitor and review monthly tax reconciliation and equalization to aim for tax compliance and manage action oriented steps are taken from the results.
- Maintain VAT In and withholding tax (WHT) payable outstanding to ensure it is not expired and VAT In can be credited for the company, to minimize tax audit findings and avoid administrative sanctions.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures starting from the transactional tax in finance operations, annual tax return, and preparations of data reconciliations, and equalization to support tax audit.
- Act as advisor for other departments (such as finance operations, business operation side, etc) for tax related queries and sharing on tax knowledge.
- Manage and mentor tax team members to greater levels of effectiveness.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably from Accounting
- Experience: 8-9 years’ experience in related field
- Certifications / licenses: Tax Brevet A, B, and C
- Special skills: strong knowledge of Indonesian Tax Regulation, basic Accounting, basic function of SAP, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.
