Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field. (Fresh graduate is welcome to apply).
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, perform calculations, and generate solutions to technical problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, project requirements, and work environments in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills, techniques, and technologies relevant to the field of civil engineering.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct research, gather data, and perform analysis on various aspects of civil engineering projects, such as materials, regulations, and best practices.
- Assist engineers in performing calculations, preparing design sketches, and drafting plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Provide technical assistance and support to engineers and project managers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and troubleshooting problems as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities, exchange information, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, files, and records in a systematic and accessible manner, both electronically and in hard copy.
- Attend project meetings, take minutes, and assist in preparing meeting agendas, presentations, and follow-up actions.
