Job Description

Overview
Supervising day-to-day, weekly, and monthly travel tasks, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and addressing risk-related tasks within the travel workflow

level 1 - Basic

  1. Review the flow of pending travel-related assignments for clients and suppliers daily and weekly. 
  2. Distribute pending tasks among team members in the travel department to improve efficiency.
  3. Ensure all travel projects and tasks are completed within established timelines. 
  4. Utilize project management tools to efficiently organize and supervise travel-related projects, ensuring that updates are consistently accurate within a 24-hour accuracy window.
  5. Stay informed about travel rules and standards, ensuring all travel activities follow internal and external legal and ethical guidelines. 


Level 2 - Senior

  1. Take on additional tasks assigned by upper management, adapting to unforeseen challenges and proactively addressing emerging issues.
  2. Act as a central point of contact for all travel-related project status. 


Level 2.5 - Supervisor

  1. Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed within specified timeframes.
  2. Coordinate with department heads to allocate resources effectively, ensuring team members have the necessary tools and support to complete their tasks.
  3. Identify unforeseen travel risk issues and escalate them to supervisors, managers, and higher management for preventive action.


Level 3 - Jr. Manager

  1. Keep thorough records of project information, like timelines, resources, and any project plan changes.
  2. Implement strategies to streamline processes and reduce bottlenecks in the travel workflow.
  3.  Responsible for handling risk-related tasks, including ensuring timely commission collection, managing refunds and cancellations, and providing comprehensive recaps of investigations.

Requirements
  1. Minimum bachelor's degree or above 
  2. More than 3 years experience in tourism or complex project management is preferred.
  3. Ability to work flexible hours
  4. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using technology.
  5. Knowledge of different cultures and customs
  6. A meticulous eye for detail
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  8. Analytical Skills: Proficient in fast-paced chronological analysis.
  9. Above-average proficiency in organizing and managing data files.
  10. Competent in time management and overseeing traffic flow or logistics.
  11. Possess a passport and have travelled abroad
