GajiRecruitGo is in search of a User Experience Manager in Indonesia who will be working with our client who is an online platform for Freelance, Marketplace for services, side hustles, and gigs.
Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone upbeat, analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses impeccable communication skills in both written and verbal using the English language.
Responsibilities:
- Lead UX initiatives, ensuring a user-centered design approach
- Conduct usability testing and interpret user feedback for continuous improvements
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond
- Collaborate effectively with development, design, and marketing teams
- Facilitate communication and alignment between different functional areas
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear communication
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of product features
- Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and potential threats
- Demonstrate a proactive problem-solving mindset, addressing challenges as they arise
- Data-driven decisions to optimize product performance
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Business, Computer Science)
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD)
- Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies
- Basic technical understanding to communicate effectively with development teams
- Familiarity with technologies relevant to the startup application
- Strong communication skills for clear articulation of ideas and requirements
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability and initiative in a startup environment
- Problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced setting
- Awareness of UX, design, and technology trends relevant to the startup industry
- Proven experience as a UX Manager, Product Manager, or in a related role preferred
- Background in developing digital products or applications preferred
- Familiarity with startup environments preferred
- Demonstrated impact on product success, user satisfaction, or business outcomes preferred
- Portfolio showcasing successful UX or product management projects preferred
