Job Description
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation, distribution, and delivery processes for raw materials and finished products.Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Oversee warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and shipping of chemical products.Implement best practices for warehouse layout, organization, and safety standards to ensure a smooth work flow and compliance with regulationsConduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies.Monitor stock ageing and FIFO & FEFO movement.Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse and logistics staff, promoting a safety-conscious work environment.
The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Have experience from both Multinational and Local company.Have experience in Bonded Zone.Have experience handling shoretankIn-depth knowledge of chemical handling, storage, and transportation regulations and best practices.Proficiency in using warehouse management software and ERP systems for inventory control and logistics planning.
