Job Description
Supervises planning, management, review, and assessment of wasteWater Treatment plants and equipment.Manages wastewater activities for public health and environmental protection, ensuring compliance with regulations.Monitors operations for compliance, takes corrective actions, and addresses potential issues promptly.Directs staff to optimize wastewater systems efficiency and performance, conducts training, and evaluates staff.Plans and prioritizes special wastewater projects, ensuring quality work and timely completion.Supervises systems, analyzes data, anticipates problems, and develops solutions.Manages regulatory reporting, emergency responses, and collaborations with agencies.Manages budgets, oversees administrative tasks, and monitors expenditures. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a relevant field of study.5 years of experience in wastewater operations, which includes at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.Demonstrate proficiency in overseeing wastewater system operations, applying technical standards, federal and state regulations, and municipal policies.Have familiarity with various equipment utilized in wasteWater TreatmentExhibit expertise in analyzing wastewater-related challenges, assessing options, and proposing effective methods, procedures, and techniques to address issues.
