Uraian Tugas

Objective

The Assistant Boutique Manager is responsible for to assist the overall management of the boutique and the brand experience offered—retail sales, customer journey and all its operation; and responsible for achieving sales objectives, store profitability goals, providing highest level customer experience, both achieving and maintaining high operational and merchandising standards. In addition, this position is also responsible to assist on building a highly motivated team and developing associates to enable them to progress in their careers with John Hardy 

Responsibilities:

Sales Management 

  • Assist boutique Manage on managing the boutique business according the KPI and budget set. 
  • Provide feedback to direct report on product assortment, buying trends and customer requests. 
  • Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports, including highlights success and opportunity to improve and grow the business further.
  • Proactively manage the clientele function in the store. Identify opportunities in gaining clients though community outreach and possible business partnership.
  • Up to date with the market in Bali (tourist and local) to be able to strategize the sales.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership for sales team by playing an active role on the selling floor. 
  • Ensure that all sales team members are knowledgeable of all company products, company information and brand history. Be up to date with company news. 
  • Continuously motivate and coach boutique sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals. Provide recognition for top sales team. 
  • Meet all KPI goals. 

Brand Experience and customer journey

  • Ensure the highest level of customer service both from boutique experience and brand workshop experience. 
  • Assist to manage the consistency of the brand workshop experience (Workshop Tour, Long Table Lunch with Management, Masterclass and Archive Tour)
  • Empower associates to make decisions in the best interest of providing good customer service. 
  • Ensure that daily customer sales service is also up to standard. 
  • Assist on managing the operations flow of each of the experience.

Team Management 

  • Assist Boutique Manager to execute the training (sales techniques, customer service, policies and procedures, product knowledge).
  • Responsible for evaluation and development of the store team, maximizing individual potential, and ensuring succession plans.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership for sales team by playing an active role on the selling floor. 
  • Ensure that all sales team members are knowledgeable of all company products, company information and brand history. Be up to date with company news. 
  • Continuously motivate and coach boutique sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals. Provide recognition for top sales team. 
  • Ensure all human resources policies and procedures are implemented, solving staff issues as appropriate.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, peers, supervisors, and corporate office.

Operations 

  • Assist in determining staffing needs and create staff schedules to ensure appropriate store coverage and match to traffics.
  • Complete all store reports in an accurate and timely fashion. 
  • Effective utilization of POS system and its inventory management functions. 
  • To be fully trained in current POS systems and to ensure that all staffs are proficient as well. 
  • Assist Boutique Manager ensuring that boutique is compliance with all Internal Control procedures: Maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure monthly physical count is up to standard.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and store condition as set forth by company. 
  • Maintain the highest standard of housekeeping and organization both on and off the sales floor. 
  • Assist in managing all boutique operations accordingly to the company standard and also according to the accreditation set forth.
  • Perform other projects, as assigned by Boutique Manager 
 

Professional Requirements 

Requirement:

  • Desirable 4-8 years retail experience in high end Jewelry, fashion or luxury goods desirable, with a proven and successful experience in supervisory and/or assistant manager role
  • Passionate about fashion and jewelry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing is a must.
  • Pleasant personality and good grooming.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to take ownership of the business.
  • Overseas education desirable.
  • Willing to be placed in Bali.
