Job Summary: The Audit Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the internal audit function to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation within the organization. This role involves planning, executing, and reporting on audit activities, coordinating with various departments, and providing valuable insights to enhance internal controls and processes. The Audit Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial information, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Planning and Execution:
   • Develop and implement annual audit plans based on identified risks and priorities.
   • Plan and coordinate audit engagements, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timelines.
   • Perform audit fieldwork, including evaluating controls, testing transactions, and documenting findings.
2. Risk Assessment and Compliance:
   • Identify potential risks and assess the effectiveness of internal controls in various business processes.
   • Evaluate compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant laws.
   • Provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks and enhance controls.
3. Process Improvement:
   • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
   • Collaborate with department heads to recommend process improvements and best practices.
   • Monitor the implementation of suggested improvements and track outcomes.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
   • Communicate audit results to management and relevant stakeholders.
   • Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation for future reference and reporting.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
   • Lead a team of auditors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
   • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to achieve audit objectives.
   • Support the professional growth and development of team members.
6. Continuous Monitoring:
   • Implement ongoing monitoring procedures to assess the effectiveness of corrective actions.
   • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes relevant to the retail and fashion sector.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) is a plus.
• Several years of experience in internal audit, preferably within the retail or fashion industry.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in using audit software and tools (Retail Pro system is a plus).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• This is a work-on-site (work at the office)
