Cloud Engineer - Internship

About You
Penultimate year student working towards a bachelor’s degree, graduating in 2025 or 2026.
Majoring in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related science/technical fields
Basic understanding of computing, storage, networking, and scripting.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Able to speak English
Willing to relocate to the job location
Self-motivated, resourceful, and creative problem solver
High conceptual and analytical skill

The Role

As a trainee, you will participate in a structured training program in cloud technology, and you are expected to collaborate with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience.

Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing, and highly autonomous. No architects or middle management. As a Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with the engineering team to identify and implement optimal cloud solutions. You will define best application deployment practices, guide developer teams, and ensure efficient infrastructure maintenance.

Among other things, TDD/BDD, Refactoring, and Continuous Delivery are deeply embedded, and we’re constantly striving to improve the way we work. We know typing is not the bottleneck, so among other things:
Have around sharing sessions a week, spending time doing things like Katas and Dojos and discussing practices and technologies.
However, we’re not perfect and not afraid to say so. We recognize we have many problems that need solving and a long way to go on our journey of continuous improvement.

We are committed to building a system that meets the standards of best practices for application deployment, provides guidance to developer teams, and ensures efficient infrastructure maintenance. And that requires a gradual process to achieve.Here’s a (not exclusive) list of technologies we currently use:

AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
Jenkins, CI/CD, automation testing
Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Java or other programming languages.
