Job Description
Market, Consumer Behavior, and Competitive Analysis
Maintain market and competitive monitoring dashboard.
Monitoring and organizing key metrics based on available research for company trackers.
With support of senior team members, conducting thorough analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitors to generate strategic and actionable insights.
Research and Survey
With supervision of senior team members, independently handling medium-to-small scale preparation of the research, execution, and reporting for both external and internal research. External meaning survey is conducted with research vendors/agencies.
Ensuring the quality of the research brief is aligned with company objectives and direction.
Ensuring the quality of research results/findings/recommendations.
Operational Excellence
Demonstrate full ownership and accountability on the assigned area delivery.
Be the champion of customer voices and most updated with market trends.
Supporting more senior team members in handling stakeholders’ discussion/meeting/request.
Requirements
- Graduated from reputable universities majoring in Marketing, Psychology, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or relevant fields.
- Preferably has minimum 2-3 years experience working in a research agency/data analytics firm/consumer insight team in the client-side or relevant industry.
- Good communication skills, verbally and written.
- English fluency for business and internal collaboration needs is a must (written and verbal).
- Mandarin Chinese language: intermediate and up level (written and verbal) for internal collaboration.
- Good analytical skills is a must.
- Able to work in a team and have a proactive and willing to learn attitude.
- Have knowledge on primary research (can be from academic research or other types of research).
- Have high attention to detail. Comfortable working with data (qualitative and quantitative data).
- Self-driven, ability to manage multiple projects and other responsibilities and at the same time able to clearly prioritize / effectively delegate tasks is a plus. Able to perform under pressure and ambiguity.
- Able to work under a tight timeline.
- Comfortable working in flexible working hours and occasional traveling.
