Corporate Legal Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Review and provide draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure compliance with all statutory or legal requirements
2. Led the legal team in any corporate action and financing needed for the company
3. Drafting Memorandum and Articles of Association, obtaining necessary approvals and establishing companies and attending to all corporate secretarial matters relating thereto
4. Oversee the daily management of the legal function (including administration of all legal documentation) and provide accurate, timely and pragmatic legal advice to support the company's business
5. Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to other staff
6. Ensure awareness of any legal updates/regulatory changes and advise on any necessary change to internal company policies
7. Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management, especially on contract management
8. Review ongoing cases and advice management with all legal documentation and issues within the organization
9. Facilitate in managing legal exposure and mitigating legal risks in business operations of all Group companies

Requirements:

1. Have a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the top 10 law schools in Indonesia. Having a Master's Degree is major advantage
2. Minimum 8 years’ experience in legal & compliance roles, either as an in-house legal or legal consultant and 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
3. Positive attitude, flexible, proactive, self-motivated and detailed oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work with minimum supervision
4. Understand the laws and regulations related to companies & employment
5. Good teamwork & interpersonal skills.
6. Have an analytical and thorough mind, able to think strategically and handle complex concepts (problem-solving drive)
7. Positive attitude, integrity, efficient, teamwork, discipline and adaptable. English proficiency is a MUST (verbal and written)
