Responsibilities:
- Review and provide draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure compliance with all statutory or legal requirements
- Led the legal team in any corporate action and financing needed for the company
- Drafting Memorandum and Articles of Association, obtaining necessary approvals and establishing companies and attending to all corporate secretarial matters relating thereto
- Oversee the daily management of the legal function (including administration of all legal documentation) and provide accurate, timely and pragmatic legal advice to support the company's business
- Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to other staff
- Ensure awareness of any legal updates/regulatory changes and advise on any necessary change to internal company policies
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management, especially on contract management
- Review ongoing cases and advice management with all legal documentation and issues within the organization
- Facilitate in managing legal exposure and mitigating legal risks in business operations of all Group companies
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the top 10 law schools in Indonesia. Having a Master's Degree is major advantage
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in legal & compliance roles, either as an in-house legal or legal consultant and 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
- Positive attitude, flexible, proactive, self-motivated and detailed oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work with minimum supervision
- Understand the laws and regulations related to companies & employment
- Good teamwork & interpersonal skills.
- Have an analytical and thorough mind, able to think strategically and handle complex concepts (problem-solving drive)
- Positive attitude, integrity, efficient, teamwork, discipline and adaptable. English proficiency is a MUST (verbal and written)
