Job Description- Supervise the Food & Beverage, Storekeepers and receiving clerk.
- To liaise with purchasing on the timely delivery of items.
- Ensure that security of all stores has been adequately maintained, including proper restrictions on the issue of keys and general access.
- Ensure that all incoming goods have been received via the Receiving Area, with deliveries properly checked against purchase orders and market list.
- Make an ocular inspection of the storeroom and receiving Area on a daily basis.
- Ensure that proper records have been kept of inventory receipts, issues and returns by use of storeroom stock cards and signed documents.
- Introduce stringent cost control measures.
- Conduct regularly butcher and cooking testing and yield testing.
- Perform recipe costing for food and beverage.
- Safeguard and monitor the movement of chinaware, glassware, silverware and linen.
- Conduct monthly inventory taking of food, beverage and other storeroom items.
- Conduct every six months inventory taking of chinaware, glassware, silverwares and linen.
- Conduct spot check of beverage at the bar.
- Conduct market price survey in coordination with the Purchasing Manager and Kitchen Leader.
- Do monthly costing and ensure prompt submission of all month-end reports.
- Prepare monthly listing of slow moving and obsolete items and recommend steps to be taken.
- Coordinate with other departments especially F&B Department regarding cost matters.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Responsible for the supervision and guidance of the staff under his/her section.
- Safeguard assets of the hotel against loss and/or damages.
Work Experience
- Has experience at least 2 years in the same postion.
- Desire to progress within the Hospitality industry
