Job Summary:

As our business continues to grow and expand, we are looking for our next leaders in account management. We seek expressions of interest from candidates who are mobile and interested in career progression to consider as soon as a vacant opportunity arises in one of our accounts.

 

The Customer Development Manager (CDM) is pivotal in developing sales and business strategies for our key customers. This role is instrumental in achieving sales targets, enhancing product placement, and driving promotional success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute annual business plans for top-tier customers, meeting sales and net sales goals.
  • Enhance product visibility and distribution, ensuring swift market introduction of new offerings
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to deliver impactful joint business plan (JBP) initiatives
  • Utilize analytics to drive ROI-focused discussions and strategies
  • Monitor competitor activity and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial planning and maintain alignment with Customer Development timelines
  • Prepare and analyze commercial plans and ROI
  • Allocate commercial investments into brand-aligned activities
  • Enhance forecasting and business planning with advanced systems and processes
  • Mentor team members in account management and data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand online business presence and activations
  • Achieve e-Commerce sales fundamentals, including content standards and product launch timelines

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in business, commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in FMCG, nutrition, or related industry.
  • Sales management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Pet/Vet and eComm channels is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in CRM, sales analytics tools, and Google Suite or equivalent software.
  • Strong team player with collaborative skills to meet customer needs and company objectives.
