Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for in-depth understanding of Import and Export regulation for relevant Indonesia markets, in particular to Electronic and Home products industries.
2. Work with all stakeholders to implement appropriate internal trade compliance processes and procedures to comply with all applicable import/export and customs regulations.
3. Assist in the development, coordinate and maintain a central database of compliance-related data, licenses, and other required documentation.
4. Keep abreast of new regulations and programs that may impact business and communicate these to the Commodity Team to take the appropriate actions or make decisions.
5. HS CODE classification & regulatory both in China and Indonesia.
6. Tax rate confirmation & optimization.
7. Certificate processing (PI BPOM SNI POSTEL).
8. Indonesian customs clearance strategy and execution, risk management.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
2. 5 years experience in import/export customs or trade consulting. Knowledge in electric and home products industries in Indonesia is advantageous.
3. Proven experience in customs clearance operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
4. In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international trade compliance.
5. Strong understanding of tariff classifications, valuation methods, and duty calculation.
6. Ability to interpret and apply complex customs regulations and trade agreements effectively.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customs authorities, internal stakeholders, and external service providers.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and operational requirements in the customs environment.
10. Fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin may be advantageous.
11. Experience in applying for certification such like PI, BPOM, SNI, POSTEL may be advantageous.
