All this is in the immediate vicinity of the airport with perfect S-Bahn connections. We are looking for a Director of Engineering with immediate effect or at a date to be agreed.
What you can expect:
- You are the technical specialist who leads the engineering team in the successful execution and implementation of processes and projects
- You will help ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and building codes and regulations
- You will be jointly responsible for developing emergency plans and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff and be part of the team that oversees the day-to-day implementation of those plans
- You will contribute to the preparation of the budget for the technical department and ensure that repairs and maintenance work are carried out cost-effectively
- You support the planning and implementation of the maintenance program for the hotel
- You are responsible for creating vacation and duty rosters as well as training, instructing and guiding employees and trainees
- You are responsible for the condition of the building management system
- Processing guest inquiries and dealing directly with complaints
- Daily inspection rounds in the front and heart-of-house areas as well as in the technical centers are part of your tasks
- Maintenance of technical systems and guest rooms
- Carrying out all repairs that arise in the hotel
- Ensuring effective cooperation with all relevant departments of the hotel as well as participation in meetings and conference calls is of utmost importance
