Job Description:
- Ensures the correct implementation of relevant international standards and any applicable regulations requirements, review and comments (including the consolidation of the comments from the other engineering disciplines and operations) of the key deliverables such as Safety In Design (SID) Concept.
- Perform engineering duties in planning and FEED design of electrical systems and equipment
- Apply good practices in term of design, reliability, maintainability and operability and must be familiar with the use and interpretation of results from ETAP software.
- Reviews contractors’ technical proposals, designs and specifications during tender and contract execution phases.
- Responsible in the technology and application of the electric power generation, distribution and system controls. Key deliverable of the Electrical Engineer is a one-line diagram, electrical load list, electrical equipment datasheet, electrical bulk materials and distribution network drawing, etc.
- Develop engineering design specifications, datasheets and requisition documents for assigned discipline deliverables and familiar with electrical protection system and conduct analysis using protection software (Beckwith, GE, Basler, Schneider, EL). Part of the design and engineering discipline, deals with the electricity power system including power generation and distribution system, and electrical power system controls.
- Undertake preliminary design and specification of high voltage switchgear and transmission systems to PLN switchyard interface. Coordinate with PLN regarding interface locations and specification of primary and secondary systems including protection settings
