- Managing the entire lifecycle of products or services, from introduction to end-of-life.
- Developing strategies and plans for retiring products or services from the market in a manner that minimizes impact on customers and maximizes value for the company.
- Overseeing the process of discontinuing products or services, which may involve coordinating with various departments such as marketing, sales, manufacturing, and customer service.
- Managing inventory levels of end-of-life products or components, including disposition strategies such as liquidation, recycling, or disposal.
- Communicating with customers about product discontinuation, providing information on alternative solutions, and managing customer expectations.
