Engineer Mechanical & Plumbing

·        Responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and equipment for construction projects. The position will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all relevant regulations and standards. They may also be involved in troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and systems continue to function properly after installation.

·        Develop and design mechanical systems and equipment that meet project requirements and comply with industry standards and regulations

·        Analyze project requirements and constraints to ensure that mechanical designs are feasible and cost-effective.

·        Create specifications for mechanical systems and equipment, including materials, equipment, and installation procedures.

·        Oversee the fabrication and installation of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring that they meet specifications and are installed correctly.

·        Ensure that mechanical systems and equipment comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as ASME, ANSI, and NFPA.

·        Manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including developing project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

·        Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that mechanical systems and equipment are integrated into construction projects seamlessly.

·        Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems that arise during the construction process, and develop solutions to address them.

·        Test and commission mechanical systems and equipment to ensure that they function correctly and meet project requirements.

·        Provide technical support to other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders regarding mechanical systems and equipment throughout the construction process.

·        A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with minimum of 8 years’ experience with demonstrated project management in Mill Expansion/ Power Plant Construction / EPC Industry, and minimum of 5 years experiences as Engineer Mechanical,  and minimum 3 years in site based;

·        Professional engineering license preferred, but not always required; Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools;

·        Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations, such as ASME, API, and ANSI; Knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering mechanics;

·        Experience working on large construction projects, preferably in a project management or construction engineering role and has ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously ; Experience working with contractors and subcontractors to develop and implement mechanical designs ; Experience managing budgets and timelines for projects ; Experience with Pumping systems, Piping, fire suppression systems, conveyor handling, and other mechanical systems commonly used in construction projects;

·        Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

·        Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

·        Excellent in communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate.
