Export Import Staff

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor shipments from the customer's location to their final destination.
• Identify and recommend suitable vendors.
• Timely processing of PIB & PEB documentation for both air freight and ocean freight.
• Handle import and export documents according to customer specifications.
• Draft and review PIB & PEB documents for accuracy.
• Ensure precise and punctual processing of licenses.
• Stay updated on new regulations and communicate changes to relevant parties.
• Process licenses and permits for external stakeholders.
• Inform internal teams about any new Customs-related regulations.
• Monitor and follow up on new processes, inquiries from customers, and coordinate Customs licensing.
• Handle invoicing and billing drafts for customers and vendors.

Requirements:

• Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree (S1).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding, EMKL or PPJK company.
• Proficiency in ocean export-import procedures.
• Knowledge of import and export operations.
• Strong understanding of PEB & PIB processes.
• Familiarity with export-import declaration documents (PEB/PIB) and the process of data input into Electronic Data Interchanges (EDI) Customs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes and demonstrate mobility.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, and Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills is a must.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a preferred skill.
• Willing to work with the status of an outsourcing employee from the outsourcing company vendor that we use.
