Job Specification :
- Must be an Engineering graduate, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- Must have at least 10 years management experience in food manufacturing firms at least five years of which is in a managerial capacity.
- Possesses good planning, organizing, directing, communicating and controlling skills.
- Possesses strong leadership skills.
Duties And Responsibilities :
- Direct all production operations based on agreed S&OP volumes adequately supported by Engineering, Supply Chain, and QC
- Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Standards , GMP, HACCP and Safety procedures are strictly followed to produce the standard production output at the right time.
- Monitors daily production performance in terms of productivity , efficiency and adherence to Quality Standards through periodic coordination meetings.
- Initiates in-plan and out – of plan imnprovements projects related to productions operations, compliancestandard or work simplifications through the capital budget facility.
- Develops and implements engineering projects on time and within approved budgets.
- Plans and controls annuals operating , manpower and capital budget to cover approved plans and projects throughout the Company.
- Develops dynamic key performance indices to benchmark against other URC international affiliates, consistent with company goals.
- Update the general manager all productions and engineering issues and assist in the development and refinement of new and existing Company policies and procedures through the periodic Management Committe meetings.
- Applies company rules and regulations in a fair and equitable manner and takes the necessary disciplinary action for non-compliance.
- Initiates appropriate training and development program for subordinates and identifies colleagues with potentials for career advancement.
