About The Role
As Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - GoTo Financial (GTF), you'll take the wheel in a broad range of corporate finance activities at the GTF Consolidation level for all GoTo's financial-technology-verticals (Payments, Lending, and Merchants Businesses).
You will work closely with the CFO, Finance Business Partner, Business Leaders, and Corporate team in day-to-day activities to perform annual budgeting, financial modeling, multi-year forecasts, rolling forecasts, performance reporting, and financial analysis.
What You Will Do
- Manage finance reporting datamart/database to ensure detail and efficient management reporting. Develop dynamic dashboards for real-time financial insights, contributing to improved decision-making processes.
- Drive the monthly, quarterly, annual, or multi-year planning process. Support the development of financial forecasts and operational goals, and apply business judgment and financial insights to help make decisions
- Monitor and analyze operating metrics and financial metrics to assess business performance. Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement from a financial perspective
- Provide insightful financial analysis on a regular and ad-hoc basis including but not limited to operating metrics performance, business unit performance review, and other financial ratios analysis
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial modeling (monthly or annual): build models from scratch, improve existing models, capture complex business reality/dynamics, propose solutions, and drive better decision-making
- Responsible for the preparation of the Monthly Business Review (MBR) process alongside Senior Management.
What You Will Need
- Degree-level qualification in Accounting / Business / Quantitative fields of study
- At least 3 -5 years experience in FP&A / Audit / Analytics / Strategy-related areas
- Experience working with large datasets SQL
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) and GSuite (GSheet, GSlide, etc)
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
- Able to work independently (or in a team) with high attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, balancing a commitment to hard work with an appreciation for work-life balance.
