Job Description
- Collaborate with related departments to develop, review, and update health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure, check, and carry out monthly inspections regarding the suitability and availability of (Personal Protective Equipment) PPE and work safety equipment such as APAR, P3K, etc., which are reported every week to the Head of Department.
- Facilitate the implementation of strategies to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential workplace hazards and environmental risks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies and control measures to minimize risks and ensure a safe work environment.
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive safety training program for employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Provides expertise in the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental spills.
- Make preparations regarding the adequacy of K3 in internal, external audits and ISO certification.
- Collaborate with related departments to identify the root causes of incidents and develop appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Organize and lead emergency simulations every 6 (six) months. With the aim that if an emergency occurs, it can be anticipated.
- Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures, including conducting drills and exercises to test their effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and assistance during emergency situations, ensuring the safety of personnel and the environment.
- Create a work program to minimize B3 waste so that it is accommodated properly.
- Report B3 waste management to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, West Java Environmental Service, and Bogor Regency Environmental Service every 3 months.
Requirement
- Candidate must have at least a bachelor's in chemistry, safety, engineering, environment, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experiences as Health, Safety and Environment Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Have AK3 Certification and other Health, Safety and Environment certifications.
- Familiar with arranging Health, Safety and Environment Procedures as well as planning and conducting training programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience developing and implementing HSE management systems and programs.
