Job Profile Summary:
In this role, you will need to have in-depth understanding of business processes, elicit AS-IS processes information from end users and work with stakeholders to define the TO-BE processes to transform our business. Based on the TO-BE processes, you will define use cases / user story to be implemented.
You will also develop acceptance criteria to provide assurance for quality of the applications releases. As part of this dynamic role, you will report to Lead Business Analyst or Platform Owner, and work closely
with business units and other IT teams to deliver leading edge digital capabilities.
Job Description:
- Ability to carry out process identification, definition and mapping. Participate in planning and designing business processes, including formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities.
- Work with the project team to develop, define, and elaborate features and user stories for future releases and sprints.
- Ensure that user stories meet the "definition of ready" (fully elaborated with acceptance criteria).
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops for visioning, surveys, business process descriptions, user story based product backlog development, use cases modeling and specification, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
- Work with users to define concepts and clarify requirements under the direction of project managers.
- Contribute to project plans.
- Conduct detailed research in order to translate business requirements into precise, high quality user stories or functional specifications that are clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team.
- Identify and validate key business requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional agile project teams and help drive projects across theproduct design, development and testing.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business strategies and future initiatives to determine future process and solution needs.
- Analyze business needs to identify new processes or process improvements that will meet those needs.
- Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects.
- Assist in the preparation of the testing strategy, test cases, and testing implementation.
- Ability to test as part of Sprint UAT, support training and production
- Progressively signoff completed stories with users.

- Experience in Insurance domain is a must
- LifeAsia experience is a must
- Knowledge of using tools such as JIRA, Confluence desirable
- Scaled Agile background preferred
- ALMI or FLMI certified is an added advantage
