Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated IT Support Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our IT team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical and communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and escalate when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including setting up and decommissioning IT equipment.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Keep accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding support.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
- Experienced with Cloud, Server, Wind server, Active Dirctory, WAN / LAN, Security.
Education:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
