It Support Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated IT Support Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our IT team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical and communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and escalate when necessary.
3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
4. Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including setting up and decommissioning IT equipment.
5. Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
6. Keep accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions.
7. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
3. Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding support.
7. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
8. Experienced with Cloud, Server, Wind server, Active Dirctory, WAN / LAN, Security.

Education:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
