Logistics International Import Manager
- Estimate Freight and Tax budget for every project (International Import)
- Local despatch of goods throughout the archipelago
- Make comparisons of shipping costs and provide recommendations (cost vs time)
- Finding and maintaining good business relationships with logistics service providers
- Provide and arrange information for pick-up/delivery of goods
- Checking and obtaining import/export documents, and ensuring they are correct
- Actively follow up the status of goods collection, customs processing, and delivery of goods until they arrive at their destination
- Receive goods and check against documents
- Issuing a delivery order for outgoing goods; and make sure the delivery order is sent back and filed
- Coordination with Sales, Operations and project regarding work procedures
- Supervising the packing and despatch process (from warehouse to site)
- Provide Freight and Tax budget information to Sales for budgeting
- Provide information on the arrival of goods to the Sales
- Ensure all total costs are still within the set budget
- Instant updates on company's project management software (monday.com)
- Weekly and monthly report on Logistic activities and spending
Requirements:
- Over 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- Fluent in English, in conversation and correspondence
- Diligent, organized, proactive and determined
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- A desire to learn and develop into the role
- Communication skills and effective reporting
- Ability to plan and prioritize work
