- Inventory Management & Optimization :
- Develop and implement effective inventory strategies across various product categories within Lazada Choice.
- Forecast demand accurately using historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality patterns to guide optimal replenishment plans.
- Collaborate closely with merchants to understand their product lines, lead times, and supply capabilities in order to establish appropriate safety stock levels.
- Supply Chain Coordination :
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate inbound shipments from merchants.
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics such as fill rate, stockouts, and slow-moving items to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Lazada Choice Logistics Operations team to streamline processes and optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Data Analysis & Reporting :
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to track inventory levels, forecast demand, and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency gains.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and present actionable insights to senior management, helping them make informed decisions about supply chain strategy.
- Merchant Support & Relationship Building :
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Lazada Choice merchants regarding inventory management best practices, stock allocation, and inventory health.
- Foster strong relationships with merchants by providing guidance on how to balance inventory investmen Job Requirements Requirements / Qualifications(must have) :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management within e-commerce or retail industries.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data sets and developing actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of inventory management software; experience with BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English knowledge of Chinese would be advantageous.
