Manager of Accounting & Administration

About the Position

We are seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about the numbers and has the ability to get things done.  In addition to being the Accountant, you will support the Executive team on a day-to-day basis running the office.  Your ability to complete the full cycle accounting from invoice entry to financial statement preparation and presentation will allow you to succeed in this role.

Job Description

• Utilize IFRS to prepare the books and present financial data to management.
• Periodic payroll processing
• Monthly cash flow preparation for Bali operations.
• Prepare and remit all tax filings.
• Cash calll requests to ensure adequate project funding and timely payment of all invoices.
• Assist in financial planning, budgeting and reporting for all development projects.
• Safeguard the company’s assets utilzing best accounting practices.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all accounting requests including AP, AR and banking.
• Assist in the presentation of monthly financial reports.
• Work with external auditors as required.
• Adhoc reporting and supporting the executive team as required.
• Day to day operations of managing the office.

Qualifications

• Fluent native English written and spoken with additional language proficiency an asset
• Proficiency in various accounting software including Zoho Books.
• Outstanding Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. Masters degree in Accounting, CPA Designation is an asset.
• Proven experience in real estate development operations or project accounting.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience.
