Job Description:
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising material availability including planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle.
- To Conduct investigations of suspected out-of-balance items and makes corrections to inventory.
- To supervise and monitor storage of purchased parts and finished goods
- Resolves a variety of issues involving the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of the movement of materials through the production cycle.
- Coordinates the availability of materials with Purchasing, Production and Engineering.
- Reviews daily reports to monitor stock levels and demand patterns and compares this against the original forecast.
- Conduct investigations of suspected out-of-balance items and makes corrections to inventory.
- Assists in material planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts and actual demand.
- Helps maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting.
- Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.
- Maintains and ensures accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
- Enters transactions in real-time, to assure ERP accuracy.
- Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods.
- Performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory.
- Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.
- Organize and catalogue large batches of similar items and document any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory management.
Requirement:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related discipline with relevant professional certification in Purchasing, Procurement or related discipline(s) in Mining Facilities and Services industry is desirable
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Material Controller is required

- Expert with SAP software
- Working knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and government by laws
- Able to work within tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of assigned tasks
- Good in communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate (Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)
