Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for coordinating material availability including planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle.

- To Conduct investigations of suspected out-of-balance items and makes corrections to inventory.
- To supervise and monitor storage of purchased parts and finished goods
- Resolves a variety of issues involving the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of the movement of materials through the production cycle.
- Coordinates the availability of materials with Purchasing, Production and Engineering.
- Reviews daily reports to monitor stock levels and demand patterns and compares this against the original forecast.
- Recommends changes in purchase levels to meet changing requirements.
- Performs cycle counts of the shop floor inventory.

- Manages inventory and all processes therein.
- Regularly conducts audits and verifies integrity and accuracy of reported inventory.
- Maintains, develops, and implements procedures to ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy are achieved.
- Assists in material planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts and actual demand.
- Helps maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting.
- Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.
- Maintains and ensures accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
- Enters transactions in real-time, to assure ERP accuracy.
- Works with purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Identifies opportunities to reduce transportation costs and charges.
- Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods.
- Provides kits and other material to production team and other internal customers.
- Performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory.
- Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.
- Organize and catalogue large batches of similar items and document any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory management.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications
- Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need?
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Purchasing, or any related disciplines; Relevant professional certification in Purchasing, Procurement or related discipline(s) is desirable.
- 7 years’ experience working in Material Controller is required
- Working knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and government bylaws
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Email outlook); Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
